It’s official. We are well into fall 2011 now and it is time to go fall shoe shopping! The colors for this season have been deemed: black, white, stone, metallic, beige, burgundy, dark blue, chocolate, deep violet, khaki and red. Darker is an obvious trend for the colder seasons. Material trends for this year include: suede, patent leather, satin, reptile leather (mostly snake) and regular leather. Toss in a bit of lacing, a touch of fur and a few buckles and that’s what you’re searching for this season! Common styles you’ll come across this fabulous fall are: chunky heels, spike heels, modest platforms, wedges, along with your typical but always classic pumps, flats boots and booties. And if you’re feeling exceptionally vogue, socks with shoes (especially pumps) is making a comeback, keeping your toes toasty. Happy hunting for those fabulous fall finds!
