How long does it take to create a piece?
Claudia Endler Designs creates each piece individually to order and requires a 2-4 week turn around time unless otherwise specified. Upon shipment, we will email you with a tracking number.
How can I see your jewelry designs?
Our Los Angeles design studio is located just outside of downtown at 676 S. Avenue 21, Unit 33, Los Angeles CA 90031.
We are open by appointment and for special events.
Tuesday – Fridays 10-6pm and Saturdays 10-3pm.

What if I do not know the ring size?
We can ship you ring sizers free of charge so you can try on and see what works best for you. We can also discuss how to best approach this if it is surprise.
Can I order a larger ring size than is specified on the website?
Ring sizes are available other than listed by special order. This may effect delivery time and prices. Please contact us for details.
What materials do you use?
Our designs are available to be ordered in 14K or 18k white, yellow or pink gold and platinum upon request. Some of our pieces are available in palladium. Our “silver” collection is made from sterling silver and each piece is stamped with 925. The smaller diamonds are all VS F-G quality unless otherwise specified. The larger diamonds .50 ct and above are available and priced competitively according to the 4 Cs.
Gold: All of our white gold is rhodium plated according to industry standards to create that really white look. White gold is actually yellow gold which becomes white when alloyed with other materials which also gives it strength. The rhodium plating will come off over time depending on wear. Rings especially come into contact with other materials the most. To some this is noticeable and some not. Yellow gold is softer than white gold. We can of course refurbish your CED pieces.
How green is Claudia Endler Designs?
Our jewelry designs are produced in Los Angeles, California, with some of the most strict standards for working conditions and waste disposal. We create our pieces from certified recycled silver, gold and platinum, whenever possible, and repurpose clients’ stones and metal to provide a better value, contribute to the local economy, create less stress on the environment and leave a smaller carbon footprint. We have been working with the same contractors for years and will only work with those that provide safe working conditions and fair wages.
In consideration of our saturated landfills, our shipping materials and packaging are 90% recyclable or reused.
Diamond Sources
Along with the global diamond industry, we have a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. Through measures, such as the Kimberley Process, which tracks diamonds from mine to market, and industry partnerships with the United Nations and governmental and non-governmental organizations, the diamond industry polices exports to prevent illegal trade.
We only purchase diamonds through respected suppliers, who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process. If one of our suppliers was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would immediately sever that relationship. We will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
Diamonds are mined throughout the world, including major mines in Australia, Africa, Russia and Canada. Jewelry Care
Each Claudia Endler Designs piece is made in precious metals. When jewelry is worn, especially rings, its surfaces undergo changes. No metal is so hard that it will not acquire personal traces of wear. Polished surfaces become more matte. Matte surfaces gradually become shinier. Every piece of jewelry develops its own unique character of the person who wears it.
Your jewelry is precious. In order to keep it in good condition, it should be stored separately as in a soft cloth, velvet bags or trays will keep them from being scratched. All jewelry needs to be cleaned regularly to maintain its beauty and luster. Film will develop from perfumes, lotions, soaps and body oils. Gold can also oxidize depending on the karat weight and other metal content.
Here are a few tips:
liquid soap bath: You can use any mild liquid detergent (i.e. dishwashing soap) in a bowl with warm water. Let it soak. Then use a soft brush, such as an eyebrow brush or soft used toothbrush, to gently clean the jewelry. Rinse well with warm running water and pat dry with a soft lint-free cloth. Careful drying is important.
cold water soak: Mix equal parts of water and ammonia in a cup and soak for about 30 minutes. Using a soft brush, gently clean the jewelry. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a lint free cloth.
jewelry cleaners: Commercial brands of jewelry cleaners also work well. You can dip them into the basket and the brush is provided. Just make sure you read the instructions. Not all cleaners work with all metals or gemstones.
ultrasonic cleaners: They loosen the dirt through high frequency vibration. Jewelry is placed into the machine with water and a special detergent. These little machines come in various qualities.
a word of caution: Not all jewelry can be cleaned as above. You must be cautious of the stones in the jewelry. Some may be sensitive to ammonias and soaps. If in doubt… do not do it.
dont’s: We recommend not wearing fine jewelry while doing housework, working out, lifting weights, gardening or using chemicals and such. Or at least wearing gloves. Also we suggest avoiding direct contact with chlorine and other bleaches, including the swimming pool.
do’s: We recommend having your stones checked periodically for security and thoroughly cleanse with ultrasounds.

How do I select a diamond?
Bigger is Not Always Better: The price of a diamond varies considerably and one should take into account color, cut, clarity and carat weight. Since both color and cut are visible to the naked eye, they are the first two criteria on most grading charts.
color: Color describes the degree to which the diamond is colorless. Ranging from (D) colorless to (Z). (D) is very rare and very valuable. (K) – (Z) show more and more yellow color in the stone. The subtle changes in color from one shade to another are best seen in good lighting, on white paper and with several different shades next to each other.
cut: Cutting is critical because it reveals the beauty of a diamond through the distribution of light, thus resulting in its degree of brilliance Cut describes the proportions and angles with which the stone is cut. There are formulas that will bring out the most brilliance in a stone. The well cut stone reflects light internally, from one facet to another and disperse it through the top and are brilliant whether prong or bezel set.
clarity: Clarity describes the absence or presence of flaws, called inclusions. These take the form of minerals, fractures, crystals, clouds or feathers. The clarity scale ranges from Flawless (F) to Included (I), based on visibility at 10x magnification. Flawless (F) stones are very rare in nature and more valuable. The stone is also valued according to where the inclusion is located. In the case of the slightly included (SI) stone, the flaws may not be very noticeable, and may appear “eye clean” which means not visible to the naked eye.
carat weight: One carat is 200 milligrams or 100 “points”. A .75 carat diamond is the same as a 75-points or ¾ carat diamond. The price of diamonds increases exponentially as the stone gets larger, quality remaining constant. Size (referring to weight) is not always the most important characteristic. The mountings we create here at Claudia Endler Designs are known for making diamonds appear larger.
Do you gift wrap?
All orders are beautifully gift wrapped in black pouches or CED custom designed boxes. Your order is then packaged in protective boxes for shipping.
Shipping Policy
Shipping charges are based on the value of the item(s) being shipped.
- Domestic: Standard shipping rates will apply plus rate for insurance according to USPS rates.
- Custom: All custom orders using client’s stones must be insured by the client for their worth.
- International: International orders will be shipped insured with documentation for customs. Shipping charges vary in these cases. Additional tariffs or duties may apply on the recipient’s end when the shipment goes through customs. These fees vary with each country and are the sole responsibility of the client.
Return Policy
We will accept returns for exchange or store credit within 10 days of receipt of jewelry provided the item returned has not been worn and is undamaged. Returns must have an approval code from Claudia Endler Designs.
All sales are FINAL on Custom Design orders.
claims: Your CED item(s) are made to order. Changes or cancellations must be made within 4 days after the order has been placed. Shipping claims, errors or reports of defects in the jewelry must be made within 4 days of receipt of the order.
