It’s almost summer but better late than never on my spring cleaning this year. Last month, I went through my mother’s jewelry box and it made me realize I needed to go through my own.
My mother is a huge jewelry fan and lover of beautiful things. When I was a child, I would try on her jewelry and makeup to pretend I was grown up enough to wear these treasures.
Out come the blankets in our drafty loft. Time to curl up and cocoon. December days will soon bring us to the winter solstice, where the darkness will start to wane and the days will get longer. As the world keeps spinning, light will again prevail.
