Because of my passion for excellent, intentional design and my love of creating jewelry, it fascinates me to see familiar shapes in unfamiliar contexts. Last year, I posted a blog about significance of a circle; rings, in my eyes. This house and atelier, The Ring, by Marwan Zgheib is Platinum A’ Design Award Winner in Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category, 2013 – 2014. Would you believe it if I told you this home and workshop was designed for a jewelry designer? I knew I identified with it for a reason, ha! I can’t help but sense a peacefulness just gazing at the pictures of Zgheib’s design. A calm, circular, tranquility. Do you feel it too as you scroll through these pictures? Have an infinitely modern day!
