What is hematite you ask? It is a mineral with the same structure as crystal. Most of the time it’s silver-gray or black but can sometimes be seen in red or reddish-brown. Hematite comes from the Greek word for “blood” because it used to be worn as an amulet to stop bleeding. Some believe the wearers of this mineral can improve their relationships as well as increase their energy or increase intuition. I love the look of it in a rough form. It’s got that raw, edgy, contemporary chic, almost industrial look without sacrificing sophistication. Here is CED’s softened, sophisticated expression using this gorgeous mineral.
Have an infinitely modern day!
