More and more I am attracted to portraits done in unusual ways. When I stumbled across some combined with a diamond, divergent diamonds, they really caught my eye. With an architectural feel and linear quality, I knew I’d found a fabulously unique design, combining some of my favorite things. And I’m not talking about rain drops on roses. Take a look at Laura Guarie’s fascinating and innovative designs.
“I’ve been reading a lot about European history recently and the influences that have left their mark on us, especially in art, architecture and design. Europe reached a very high level in the traditional teaching of arts and crafts, and has left us the legacy of its avant-garde experimentation, particularly Cubism and Constructivism.” — Laura Guarie
Student designer from the University of Buenos Aires, in Argentina, Laura Guarie is presently studying graphic design there. She specializes in illustration, collage, editorial design, editing and animation.
