Originally, black was only worn to signify mourning. It wasn’t until 1926, when Coco Chanel designed a LBD and Vogue published the drawing, that ladies began to catch onto unlocking the possibilities. And then, unforgettably in 1961, Audrey wore one in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” There has been no turning back since and we all lived happily ever after. Now, these are what we call, “Coco Chic!”
