What did you want to see reflected?
A reminder to continue following my dream of having a creative path in my own business, continued personal growth, and connecting to others.
What was going on in your life that prompted you to need this reminder?
I was going through a period of major transition, the ending of a marriage and the decision to pursue a completely new career direction. I realized I needed figure out what was important to me, what I believed in and what made me happy. I have always been drawn to art, history, design and what motivates people. I always loved jewelry even as a kid I would be glued to the shop windows. A romantic at heart, I was open to having a love, only it became very clear I had to make a commitment to myself first before I could again make another long term commitment to another person. That commitment would be with me no matter who I was with or which creative path I was on.
Why did you choose this design? How does it make you feel when you wear it?
I specifically chose these rings as a reminder to the commitment I made to myself of staying on my creative path. I love contrast and how seemingly opposing elements can still be in harmony and acknowledge the other. Fifteen years later, I still wear them every day. I feel strength and peace when I look at them. They are my power rings.

For me life is about creating memories, art, personal growth, challenging myself and connecting with people and the world around me. My relationship with others has transformed my world. And I have met myself along the way.
