Losing a loved one is never easy. We all have ways we remember and personal memorials but a relatively new process can create an even more intimate memorial.
LifeGem was formed in 2001, specializing in creating diamonds from a lock of hair or the cremated remains of your loved one. Although a little unusual, the more I think about it the more I like it. Clearly I love jewelry so I’m all for that aspect and people usually have something they see regularly or wear to remind them of their loved one.
Why not have a gem that could make you feel closer to them? And what a beautiful way to be remembered. I recently had a client come to me wanting a custom LifeGem ring. I was so touched to be able to create a setting for a LifeGem. It was an honor to be apart of something so special and in a way, intimate.
So, is LifeGem traditional?
No.
Is it creative, unique and sentimental?
Absolutely.
Have an infinitely modern day!
