Whenever I used to worry about making mistakes, my father would say, “Don’t worry, you always get to make new ones!”
Through this he taught me that worry is fruitless and sometimes the best way to learn is to dive right in. If you fail, you can always try a different way. Nobody is perfect, all anybody can ask of you is your best. But that’s the key, you have to be willing to always give your best. Every time.
Thank you for this lesson and for your part in helping to shape who I am today.
To my dad and to all those dads who challenge and inspire their children,
