Los Angeles is our city! We love it. The people, the location, the traffic…just kidding about that last one. And believe it or not, we like to leave the studio every once in awhile and explore our beloved city. We’ve complied a list of a few of our favorite places around Los Angeles that rejuvenate and inspire us!
The Hollywood Bowl
No doubt everyone is aware of this wildly famous and popular concert venue. Founded in 1922 and nestled in the Hollywood Hills, the experience at the Hollywood Bowl has only gotten better with age.
Griffith Park Observatory
On the south-facing side of Mt. Hollywood, the Griffith Park Observatory is by far the best place in town to enjoy incredible views of the city as well as fantastic stargazing. Literal stars, not movie stars.
Getty Museum
Spanning two campuses, the Getty Museum is home to European paintings, drawings, sculptures, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and photography. Visit the Getty Center in Los Angeles or the Getty Villa in Malibu, both are spectacular!
Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens
An educational and research institution founded by Henry E. Huntington in 1919, the Huntington combines a library, art collections, and vast, varied and impressive botanical gardens.
Will Rogers Beach
There is something so wonderfully relaxing about simply spending a day at the beach. One of our favorites is Will Rogers Beach, far enough away from the city to be quieter and a bit less crowded, but only an easy half hour from our studio in East Los Angeles.
