Sometimes it is just simply a time for a change. We may choose to create a change in style, clothing or perhaps a new coif. Even our jewelry could use updating for a new fresh look.
Our client wanted to keep this very interesting Boulder Opal but wanted a change in style. A more structured, minimal, architectural and open setting. She was attracted to our Custom Large Amethyst Pendant. She was presented with several drawings to choose from. We love the contrast of the organic nature of the Boulder Opal and the structured linear look containing the seeming chaos within.
She also liked the look of white and yellow gold together. We re-purposed the diamonds from another ring and chose to use the yellow gold rope neck wire which picks up the existing yellow gold around bezel. When taking apart things sometimes we discover unknowns. This piece had to be laser welded together in order to protect the stone as much as possible.
