CED’s Black Sophisticate
Sometimes I am inspired by the stone. This hand carved black onyx diagonally cut square, from award winning gem carver Steve Walters, inspired the piece, Black Sophisticate. Its geometry attracted me and beckoned me to think of the Art Deco movement. Drawing lines from the past to create the present. Art Deco – Moderne Inspiration paired down to Contemporary Modern Minimalism which motivates many of my designs.

Set in hand carved sterling silver pendant with white sapphire pave’. The handmade sterling silver clasp is an enhancer which can be removed and worn on other necklaces or pearl strands. Here suspended from a steel mesh chain with magnetic closure. This Black Sophisticate is for a sophisticated taste in the 20s, 30s and today.
Have an infinitely modern day!
