Don’t you just love winter? Beautiful crisp, clean snow comprised of amazingly individual snowflakes. I’m a self-proclaimed lover of architecture and design. No secret or surprise there. But after reading an article about snowflake formation I got to thinking: have you ever thought about the design and natural architecture of snowflakes? Did you know each one has six sides? I love how each is so intricate and stunningly designed; like a tiny work of art! There are so many natural varieties. Contemporary, modern, art deco, gothic ornate, geometric and so many more styles. Predictably, my favorite lean more towards the contemporary style. It is astounding to me that the bonding of two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atoms, a drop in temperature and you have a gorgeous little gift! If only we could hold on to them longer than a few brief seconds. I guess I’ll just have to admire these illustrations instead..
Have an infinitely modern day!
