Brown has a bad rap. For one, it is the color of some unpleasant things; mud, dirt, dead leaves, mice etc. Secondly, as it is typically seen in the fall and winter it brings to mind drab and dreary ensembles and outfits.
Poor brown, it’s not fair. Let’s discuss the more pleasant things that come to us in this dark hue. Chocolate, of course. Bread, my love. …Maybe we should head down the less edible route?
Let’s not forget about diamonds. From chocolate to champagne, brown diamonds offer a deep, gorgeous alternative to colorless diamonds. Just as sparkly, even rarer and definitely intriguing.
