As the calendar turns a page into a new year I realize life is continuously moving and changing. Some of us are relieved to leave 2017 behind, or at least part of it. But the reality is we do not discard our past, we bring it with us.
Our past is in our DNA – from the people who came before us as well as our own experiences. There is something magical about transforming the parts of the past that support us into who we are and can be. We can choose to look at it as a gift rather than baggage.
The gifts that 2017 gave me were kindness, empathy, and love. My intentions for 2018 are to practice presence, share what moves me, and create connection through community. There is much to celebrate in using our powers for good.
In 2018 we are excited to host more intimate, themed events that build connection and community. We will of course continue to help others celebrate their lives by creating jewelry that reflects their journey. And we will share more of the stories and designs that inspire us and will inspire you as well.
For the past 14 years, CED has hosted a chocolate martini soirée in January as a thank you to my clients and friends. This year I thought we would mix it up a bit. I recently created a visualization that helps me change my perspective, especially when I feel stuck, or when I’m not shining as brightly as I want to in the world. I’m excited to share it with you as my gift for 2018. I hope it helps you on your journey throughout the coming year.
