Custom Diamond Cocktail Ring Pendant

Every piece of jewelry has a story. Sometimes that story is a continuation from the person who may have owned the piece before us. This custom diamond cocktail ring pendant was indeed a ring which belonged to our client’s grandmother. She wore it often and with love, a stunning starburst. When our client inherited it she wanted to wear it but it was not her style or scale as a cocktail ring. How to transform the piece into something that would reflect her more modern style while keep true to her grandmother?

I suggested cutting off the ring gallery, repurposing the existing design by creating a pendant encircled by white gold.  The circle has no beginning and no end. This circle is not only a frame for the artwork which it holds, it’s an eternal symbol of a keepsake for the memories of her grandmother. Bringing her memory forward into the future with an updated version that reflects both grandmother and granddaughter.
