Custom Boulder Opal Pendant

Our client wanted to keep this very interesting Boulder Opal but wanted a more structured, minimal, architectural and open setting.  She was attracted to our Custom Large Amethyst Pendant.  She was presented with several drawings to choose from. We love the contrast of the organic nature of the boulder opal pendant and the structured linear look containing the seeming chaos within.

She also liked the look of white and yellow gold together. We repurposed the diamonds from another ring and chose to use the yellow gold rope neck wire which picks up the existing yellow gold around bezel. When taking apart things sometimes we discover unknowns. This piece had to be laser welded together in order to protect the stone as much as possible.
