The Land of Larimar

Native only to the Dominican Republic, Larimar is said to be the crystallized waters of the Caribbean.

Also known as “Stefilia’s Stone,” it is actually a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite. In the very most basic terms, that means, a rock-forming mineral (like the Earth’s crust) made up of mainly sodium and calcium.

No matter it’s material makeup, you can rest assured, Larimar most definitely has inspired the wheels to start turning on some CED jewelry designs.

We hope you enjoy these snapshots of our trip!
