Yesterday was International Women’s Day 2016 and as a woman-owned company, we here at CED are all about empowered women. It’s amazing to look back over history and see how far women have come and to know that we’re not done yet. Helping empower people is something I’ve become committed to. It is truly thrilling to be able to help someone express who they are or remind them of their power within through one of my designs. It will be an awesome thing the day every little girl, everywhere, knows that she is capable of dreaming to achieve whatever she wants and feels empowered enough to pursue that dream. Yesterday’s Google doodle was a video about just that. #OneDayIWill features women and girls from all over the world, sharing their goals and dreams. Dreams not just for themselves, but for their cultures and societies and the rights women have within them. It’s a beautiful and inspiring video, watch below.
