Never heard of Prasiolite? Actually, you probably have. It’s part of the quartz family and some of its other names include: greened amethyst, amegreen, vermarine and lime citrine. According to one source it is against Federal Trade Commission Guidelines to call Prasiolite, green amethyst. So you’d better not or I’ll call the FTC. Just kidding. In reality, that guideline is more for your, the consumer, benefit to protect you from unscrupulous jewelry dealers. You have nothing to worry about because there aren’t any of those here at CED. On the contrary, we have the highest of scruples. I digress. Prasiolite is a mineral given it’s name, derived from Greek, based on it’s color. Some believe Prasiolite to have very spiritual uses such as clearing negativity, closing the gap between physical self and spiritual self, protecting against intoxication and kindle love and compassion within oneself. I’m not sure about all that but it sure is gorgeous. Don’t you just love this new CED custom design? I’m quite pleased with it, if I do say so myself!
Have an infinitely modern day!
