What is Jana Coke Style?
Jana Coke Style is a full-service wardrobe consulting agency that provides wardrobe maintenance and personal style development to professional women.
What do you want to see reflected in your work?
Each client has a style story that is as unique as their DNA. I want to continuously honor that in our consultation experiences.
What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?
The joy of my clients! The trust we develop when she tries a new style for the first time. Seeing how effective the right dress for her style personality will enhance her confidence.
Who or what inspires you?
Sunrises. The start of a new day is my inspiration.
Aside from work, what is your favorite place or thing to do in Los Angeles?
I don’t do it as much as I’d like, but thrift shopping! Discovering gems amongst junk is worth the 4-hour hunt. My favorite places are Clothes The Deal, Boutique Fundraisers, and Goodwill.
If you could pick a place to teleport to right now, where would you go?
Harlem, 1920. So much literary and musical history.
What’s your motto for life and why?
Count it all Joy. Every life experience, good or bad, has purpose.
At CED, we believe in creating personal pieces of wearable art. For some, it’s a reflection
of a personal truth they hold dear or a reminder of inner strength. Is there a piece of
jewelry or some other personal talisman that reflects you, give you strength, or tells
something of you?
It’s not something I can physically wear, but it is indeed personal. My mother gifted me my great-grandmother’s china from the early 1900’s. It’s a reminder that something so fragile can survive thought many moves and physical transitions and still maintain its integrity.
