Being a lifelong city dweller, it’s where I feel at home and where I feel comfortable. But even as a proponent for city living, I can’t argue that it does lack a bit of natural beauty. It is a totally different, faster paced experience than being out in nature or on a vacation or in the country. But that is not to say it is an ugly place. There are beautiful things all around me all the time, in so many various forms. I’ve started documenting it, just quick little snapshots of things that catch my eye and make me pause for a moment or two. I call these photos, “Beauty in the City”. Capturing the things that make an impression on me as I walk through our Los Angeles urban environment. Keep your eyes open, be mindful and find the beauty around you!
